what is Grand Saga?
Grand Saga is a team based, seasonal sport that combines Lightsaber combat with roleplaying and strategic elements. Over 20 weeks, fighters work with their faction to control a series of fictional outposts on Valenor. At the end of the season, one house will claim total victory, pushing the Grand Saga forward.

To control an outpost your team will need to conduct an assault and win at least 2 out of 3 matches. Unlocking four outposts in a district grants you an artefact which faction leaders can use to their advantage. At the end of the campaign, the faction with the most completed objectives, outposts or XP wins!

How do you play?
Secure the most outposts, achieve your objectives or score the most XP to win. To win a match, your team must win 2 out of 3 bouts. For the complete ruleset check out the Grand Saga rule book here.
Help, I'm a beginner!
That's ok. You will be assigned to an experienced faction leader who will teach you everything you need to know about grand Saga. For additional training visit one of our Training Locations!
Do I need any equipment?
All training equipment, including lightsabers and armour, is provided. If you'd like to buy your own equipment though just visit the Armoury.
How much does it cost?
Costs vary depending on the campaign. Visit the Registration Portal for more information on registration costs.
How old do you have to be?
Participants have to be at least 13 years of age to participate. More importantly, participants must be at least 150cm in height to wear the armour and be able to follow all safety instructions.
How do I organise a team?
You will need to work with one of our training centres in order to organise a team. If you are already apart of a training centre, you're an instructor or you represent a sporting organisation, speak to us about organising your own Grand Saga season.
Can I try it out first?
Yes! We will be holding tryouts before the season officially commences. You can also attend one of our Saber Academy training sessions Before the season starts!
